| Abstract: | Thanks to recent studies, the
School of Salamanca is no longer “the great
unknown” in the history of Spanish thought.
What is meant by the “School of Salamanca”
has been specified, and we now have a
deeper understanding of the School’s specific
nature and members. The issues of “morality”
and “politics”, which the authors of the
School of Salamanca illuminated by giving
them a theological and philosophical basis,
are still interesting, not only from the point of
view of the history of ideas: they provide a systematic
approach for addressing these issues. |
