Sobre la influencia de Hegel en Saussure: la naturaleza del signo lingüístico

Abstract

El propósito del estudio es mostrar que la influencia de Hegel en Saussure es bastante clara en algunos puntos, como los que se refieren a la naturaleza del signo y a la escritura; concretamente hay un estrecho paralelismo entre la “Enzuklöpadie”, §§ y el cap. I de la Primera Parte del “Curso de lingüística general”, y entre la doctrina sobre la escritura que figura en esos mismos párrafos de Hegel y el papel que le asigna Saussure en el cap. VI de la Introducción del “Curso de lingüística general”. The purpose of this study is to show that Hegel’s influence in Saussure is quite clear in some points, such as the ones referring to the nature of the sign and to writing; concretely there is a close parallelism between the “Enzuklöpadie”, §§ 458-463 and Chapter 1 of the First Part of the “General Linguistic Course”, and between the doctrine about writing that appears in those same paragraphs of Hegel and the role that Saussure gives it in Chapter 6 of the Introduction of the “General Linguistic Course”.
