Imágenes de la muerte del rey: Libro de Alexandre y Chronica latina regum Castellae

Abstract

Este artículo comenta la presencia de microestructuras relacionadas con la temática de la muerte y con el estilo elegiaco en dos obras, probablemente contemporáneas y surgidas de un contexto cultural semejante, el de la corte de Castilla en el primer tercio del siglo XIII: la Crónica latina de los reyes de Castilla, atribuida a Juan de Osuna, y el Libro de Alexandre, anónimo. This article is concerned with the presence of micro-structures related to the theme of death and an elegiac style in two probably contemporary works, deriving from a similar cultural context: that of the Castilian court of the first third of the 13th century. These work are the Crónica latina de los reyes de Castilla, attributed to Juan de Osuna, and the anonymous Libro de Alexandre.
