Lope de Vega, la fiesta cortesana y las edades de la danza

Abstract

Al mostrar una coincidencia entre la edad de Lope, la edad de la danza cortesana y el reinado de Felipe III, el artículo se interesa por dos fenómenos conexos: primero, la evolución que afecta a la interpretación e incorporación de la danza en la corte, segundo, la posición del dramaturgo ante la danza, componente esencial y evolutiva de las fiestas de esta época.

By showing a coincidence between the age of Lope, the age of court dance and the reign of Philip III, the article is interested in two related phenomena: first, the evolution that affects the interpretation and incorporation of dance in the court, second, the position of the playwright before the dance, essential and evolutionary component of the festivities of this time.
