Operadores de intensificación del adjetivo: cantidad y evaluación

Abstract

Muchos adverbios en –mente se utilizan para intensificar el adjetivo. En este estudio nos centramos en aquellos que indican evaluación, enunciación o cuantificación absoluta. A partir de un número elevado de ejemplos, se realiza un inventario de los mismos y se describe su funcionamiento discursivo. Ello nos permite comprobar cómo categorías pragmáticas diferentes (modalidad, enunciación y cuantificación) se integran a la hora de ponderar la cualidad expresada por el adjetivo. Many adverbs in –mente are used to intensify the adjective. In this article we study those which mark evaluation, statement or absolute quantity. From a good Lumber of examples, we make the inventory of them, and carry out the study of their discoursive function. This shows how differnt pragmatic categories (modality, statement and quantification) work together to enhance que quality of the adjective.
